From Boone
Take NC-105 S for about 15 miles. Turn right at Newland
Highway/US-221 (at the Grandfather sign). Turn left at
Linville Bypass/NC-181/US-221. Continue to follow US-221
to the intersection with the Blue Ridge Parkway.
From Marion
Take US-221 to the intersection with the Blue Ridge
Parkway.
From Asheville
Take I-40 E for about 32 miles. Take exit 86 for NC-226
toward Marion. Turn left on NC-226. NC-226 turns
into US-221. Continue on US-221 to the intersection with
the Blue Ridge Parkway.
From Charlotte
Take I-85 S for about 19 miles. Take exit 17 for US-321
N and follow this for about 36 miles. Take exit 43 for
I-40 W, and continue for another 36 miles. Take exit 86
for NC-226 toward Marion. Turn right at NC-226;
this turns into US-221. Continue on US-221 until you
reach the intersection with the Blue Ridge Parkway. |
